As a kid, do you remember Mac & Cheese as a staple diet? I do, and it brings fond memories. Coming home from school, watching music videos on TV, when MTV meant MTV! Now, that we are all grown up, I like to twist and hack recipes to my own liking. One such recipe is Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, like the one found . It’s quite easy and in about 15 minutes you can have a wonderful lunch, dinner or filling snack table ready.
All you need are 5 ingredients to prepare the recipe. I’ve made this recipe many times, and my family enjoys it every time.
How do you like to twist recipes to your own liking? Some of my favorites ingredient hacks are salmon, tuna, and crab. You can pretty much add them to most recipes to bring them up to another level. Well, for me anyway. Did I mention that this recipe only takes me 15 minutes to make? Yes, you read right. It’s easy and quick and oh so yummy!
So, on to my twist of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese dinner recipe. I went to my local Albertsons supermarket to buy the following 5 ingredients:
What You Need
1 package (7.25 oz.) Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 package (8 oz) Kraft Natural Cheese Sharp Cheddar
½ cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup chopped cilantro
1 can (6 oz) crab meat
Make It
Prepare Macaroni & Cheese as directed on package.
Stir in tomatoes and crab meat.
Top with sharp cheddar cheese.
Tips
You can eat it as above, or let it cool in the fridge for a cold salad, or put it in an oven-safe dish and broil until the cheese is golden brown. Serve and enjoy. And, don’t forget to let me know which is your favorite Kraft Macaroni & Cheese recipe twist.
